Scott Bitterli and Bob Bitterli at Ivy Group’s 2016 exhibitor booth

Be sure to stop by the Ivy Group booth to chat claims and practices with the experts staffing our table this year. Principal Building Scientist Mitch Wright will be there with his microscope and building envelope samples, demonstrating design and construction details that can make or break roof and wall integrity. Principal Consultant Bob Bitterli loves to share stories and experience from his more than 3 decades of architectural forensics and expert witness work, and Building Claims Investigator Jack West will be happy to chat about golf, and the damage and defects he uncovers everyday during his on-site forensic work.

On top of the humor and great conversation you’ll find at our booth, our raffle is always a hit. This year we’ll be giving away wine, and gift cards for Ruth’s Chris Steak House, so be sure to stop by for your chance to go home with some swag!

Jack West after CLI 2017, with his four CLI Golf Tournament trophies

Speaking of fun things, we’re wondering if the Ivy Group sponsored golf team will be the CLI golf tournament champion for the fifth year in a row.

The powerhouse team is comprised of Ivy Group’s own Jack West, attorney Brad R. Weiss of BMW in Coral Springs, Phipps Reporting co-founder Richard Applebaum, and Brian Rock.

“Winning five times in a row would be special,” said Jack. “If that happens, they may not let us come back!” he jokingly added. Regardless of the outcome, Jack said the CLI golf tournament is always a fun time on a beautiful course sharing work experiences.

For years now, CLI has brought together industry professionals including construction law practitioners, architects, engineers, contractors, and more. The conference gives Ivy Group the opportunity to stay up to date with trends and best practices, and to share our expertise with members of the construction law community.
